Mead Mavericks (Longmont, CO) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Centaurus Warriors (Lafayette, CO), 6-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Mavericks confront the Skyline Falcons (Longmont, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 15. Mead will attempt to better on its 7-0 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 6-0 league win over Severance (Severance, CO).

The Warriors now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Greeley Central for a 4A/5A/3A Northern Colorado challenge on Monday, April 17.
