In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) softball team overwhelmed the host Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM), by a margin of 18-0.
With the triumph, Cibola moves its record to 7-2 on the year. The Cougars travel to Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Hawks in a non-league contest on Friday, April 14. The Hawks come into the contest with a record of 11-4.
