In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves (Lansing, IL), by a margin of 10-0.
With the triumph, Andrew moves its record to 13-1 on the year. The Thunderbolts host Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL) to play the Griffins in a SouthWest Suburban contest on Thursday, April 13. The Griffins come into the contest with a record of 8-3. Lincoln-Way East lost 9-1 in their recent non-league contest against St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL)
In their next game, the Red Wolves play the Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals (Blue Island, IL) in a South Suburban match, on Thursday, April 13. Thornton Fractional South will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record. The Cardinals go into the match with a 1-5 record after their 14-0 league loss to Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL).
