South Range Raiders (Canfield, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Cheraw Braves (Cheraw, SC), 14-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to High Point Christian Academy for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 13. South Range will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 8-4 non-league loss to Anderson County (Lawrenceburg, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 12-4.

With the loss, Cheraw falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Braves travel to St. John's (Washington, DC) to battle the Cadets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 13. The Cadets enter the challenge with a record of 9-1. St. John's won 16-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Sauquoit Valley (Sauquoit, NY)
