John Glenn Little Muskies (New Concord, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Dover Crimson Tornadoes (Dover, OH), 7-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Little Muskies now own a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they host Coshocton for a Muskingum Valley challenge on Thursday, April 13. John Glenn will face a Redskins squad coming off a 17-2 league loss to Morgan (McConnelsville, OH). The Redskins record now stands at 1-10.

With the loss, Dover falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Crimson tornadoes host New Philadelphia (New Philadelphia, OH) to face the Quakers in a East Central Ohio challenge on Friday, April 14. The Quakers enter the challenge with a record of 5-0. New Philadelphia won 13-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Waynedale (Apple Creek, OH)
