The Dyersburg Trojans softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Ripley Tigers to 3 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Dyersburg improves its record to 10-6 on the year. The Trojans host Dyer County (Newbern, TN) to clash with the Choctaws in a 3A District 13 game on Thursday, April 13. The Choctaws come into the game with a record of 12-11. Dyer County lost 3-2 in their recent non-league game against South Gibson (Medina, TN)

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Munford Cougars (Munford, TN) in a 3A District 14 game, on Thursday, April 13. Ripley will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 7-2 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Arlington (Arlington, TN).
