Indiana High School Softball - New Prairie bounces Elkhart

The crowd at Wednesday's league match between the New Prairie Cougars (New Carlisle, IN) and the visiting Elkhart Lions (Elkhart, IN), saw New Prairie's softball squad achieve victory over Elkhart by a count of 9-0.
The Cougars now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Porte for a non-league match on Saturday, April 15. New Prairie will face a Slicers squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Lakeshore (Stevensville, MI). The Slicers record now stands at 6-2.
With the loss, Elkhart falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Lions host Goshen (Goshen, IN) to face the RedHawks in a non-league match on Friday, April 14. The RedHawks enter the match with a record of 2-2. Goshen won 11-1 in their recent non-league match against Triton (Bourbon, IN)
