The Comets now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Elyria for a Southwestern challenge on Thursday, April 13. Steele will battle a Pioneers squad coming off a 10-6 non-league win over Columbia (Columbia Station, OH). The Pioneers record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Elyria Catholic falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Valley Forge (Parma Heights, OH) to battle the Patriots in a Great Lakes challenge on Thursday, April 13. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 1-7. Valley Forge lost 12-2 in their recent league challenge against Lakewood (Lakewood, OH)
