Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM), 13-10 in a non-league challenge.

The Ravens now own a 10-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Albuquerque for a 5A District 5 challenge on Saturday, April 15. Rio Grande will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 23-5 league win over Capital (Santa Fe, NM). The Bulldogs record now stands at 15-5.

With the loss, Hope Christian falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM) to battle the Spartans in a 4A District 6 challenge on Friday, April 14. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 12-7. Bernalillo won 5-4 in their recent non-league challenge against West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM)
