The Illiana Christian Vikings softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Tri-Township Tigers to 0 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Illiana Christian improves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Vikings travel to River Forest (Hobart, IN) to clash with the Ingots in a Greater South Shore game on Thursday, April 13. The Ingots come into the game with a record of 2-3. River Forest lost 13-0 in their recent league game against Griffith (Griffith, IN)

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Washington Township Senators (Valparaiso, IN) in a Porter County game, on Friday, April 14. Tri-Township will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Senators come into the game with a 3-2 record after their 12-1 non-league loss to West Central (Francesville, IN).
