Indiana High School Softball - Jennings County bounces Jeffersonville

April 12, 2023: North Vernon, IN 47265

Jennings County Panthers (North Vernon, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Jeffersonville Red Devils (Jeffersonville, IN), 5-1 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greensburg for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 13. Jennings County will battle a Pirates squad coming off a 17-4 non-league win over Oldenburg Academy (Oldenburg, IN). The Pirates record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Jeffersonville falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Fort Campbell (Fort Campbell, KY) to battle the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 15. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 2-6. Fort Campbell lost 16-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Webster County (Dixon, KY)
