West Virginia High School Softball - John Marshall gets by Parkersburg

The John Marshall Monarchs got by the host Parkersburg Big Reds softball squad by a count of 5-4 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Monarchs (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Warren (Vincent, OH). The Warriors go into the non-league battle with a 1-6 record.

The Big Reds now sport a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to St. Albans for a Mountain State battle on Friday, April 14. Parkersburg will meet a Red Dragons squad coming off a 9-7 league win over Huntington (Huntington, WV). The Red Dragons record now stands at 10-3.
