Washington High School Softball - Kalama loses to St. Helens

The St. Helens Lions softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Kalama Chinooks to 4 in the Lions non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, St. Helens improves its record to 6-5 on the year. The Lions host Astoria (Astoria, OR) to clash with the Fishermen in a 4A Cowapa game on Wednesday, April 12. The Fishermen come into the game with a record of 7-2.
In their next game, the Chinooks clash with the Toutle Lake Ducks (Toutle, WA) in a 2B Central game, on Friday, April 14. Kalama will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Ducks come into the game with a 2-1 record after their 23-0 league win over Winlock (Winlock, WA).
