The Kokomo Wildkats softball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Zionsville Eagles to 3 in the Wildkats non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Kokomo moves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Wildkats host Caston (Fulton, IN) to clash with the Comets in a non-league game on Friday, April 14. The Comets come into the game with a record of 1-1. Caston won 19-1 in their recent league game against Culver Community (Culver, IN)

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the McCutcheon Mavericks (Lafayette, IN) in a North Central game, on Thursday, April 13. Zionsville will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Mavericks come into the game with a 4-1 record after their 4-3 league win over Harrison (West Lafayette, IN).
