Lower Cape May Tigers (Cape May, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Winslow Township Eagles (Atco, NJ), 19-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cumberland for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 13. Lower Cape May will face a Colts squad coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to Gloucester County Tech (Sewell, NJ). The Colts record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Winslow Township falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Seneca (Tabernacle, NJ) to face the Golden Eagles in a Olympic - National challenge on Thursday, April 13. The Golden Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Seneca lost 12-1 in their recent league challenge against Cherry Hill West (Cherry Hill, NJ)
