Marist RedHawks (Chicago, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL), 14-4 in a non-league challenge.

The RedHawks now sport a 11-1 record. They take the field next when they host Whitney Young for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 13. Marist will face a Dolphins squad coming off a 8-6 non-league loss to Maine South (Park Ridge, IL). The Dolphins record now stands at 8-8.

With the loss, Neuqua Valley falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Naperville Central (Naperville, IL) to face the Redhawks in a DuPage Valley challenge on Thursday, April 13. The Redhawks enter the challenge with a record of 5-5. Naperville Central lost 17-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Benet Academy (Lisle, IL)
