The Wasatch Wasps softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Orem Tigers to 8 in the Wasps non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Wasatch improves its record to 2-8 on the year. The Wasps travel to Salem Hills (Salem, UT) to clash with the Skyhawks in a 5A Region 9 game on Thursday, April 13. The Skyhawks come into the game with a record of 4-5. Salem Hills lost 19-9 in their recent league game against Springville (Springville, UT)

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Mountain View Bruins (Orem, UT) in a 5A Region 8 game, on Friday, April 14. Orem will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Bruins come into the game with a 5-7 record after their 21-5 league win over Jordan (Sandy, UT).
