The Erath Bobcats baseball team (Erath, LA), was overwhelmed 10-2 in Friday's non-league outing with the visiting Acadiana Rams (Lafayette, LA)
The Rams now hold a 14-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Barbe for a 5A District 3 outing on Saturday, April 13. Acadiana will confront a Buccaneers team coming off a 2-1 league win over Sulphur (Sulphur, LA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 28-5.
Next, the Bobcats confront the Vermilion Catholic Eagles (Abbeville, LA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, April 13. Erath will attempt to advance on its 22-7 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 15-8 record after their 5-3 league win over Hanson Memorial (Franklin, LA).
