The Basehor-Linwood Bobcats baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Tonganoxie Chieftains to 2 in the Bobcats non-league victory on Friday.

The Bobcats (4-7) will now prepare for their match against Blue Valley (Stilwell, KS). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Blue Valley gained a win over St. James Academy (Lenexa, KS), 6-1, in a non-league match.

The Chieftains (3-9) will now prepare for their match against Bonner Springs (Bonner Springs, KS). The Braves go into the non-league match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Bonner Springs was overwhelmed by De Soto (De Soto, KS), 7-0, in a non-league match.
