The South Ridge Panthers baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Cherry Tigers to 2 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.
The Panthers (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Two Harbors (Two Harbors, MN). The Agates go into the Polar match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Two Harbors edged Cook County (Grand Marais, MN), 10-9, in a league match.
The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Kelley (Silver Bay, MN). The Mariners go into the non-league match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Kelley edged Nevis (Nevis, MN), 12-7, in a non-league match.
