In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Collierville Dragons baseball team scored a tight 5-4 victory over the Marion Patriots.
The Dragons (16-8) will now prepare for their game against Houston (Germantown, TN). The Mustangs go into the 4A District 15 game with a 17-11 record. In their last game, Houston tipped Brighton (Brighton, TN), 8-4, in a non-league game.
The Patriots (13-6) will now prepare for their game against West Memphis (West Memphis, AR). The Blue Devils go into the 5A East game with a 3-14 record. In their last game, West Memphis was edged by Beebe (Beebe, AR), 7-2, in a non-league game.
