Northland Prep Academy Spartans (Flagstaff, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Monument Valley Mustangs (Kayenta, AZ), 12-2 in a non-league test.

The Spartans travel to La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ) to battle the Fighting Lobos in a non-league test on Saturday, April 13. The Fighting Lobos come into the test with a record of 5-9. La Joya Community won 22-1 in their recent non-league test against Tuba City (Tuba City, AZ)

With the defeat, Monument Valley falls to 3-18 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Cortez (Phoenix, AZ) to battle the Colts in a non-league test on Saturday, April 13. The Colts come into the test with a record of 6-14. Cortez won 18-7 in their recent non-league test against Window Rock (Fort Defiance, AZ)
