The South Bronx Phoenix topped the host Leadership Academy volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.
The Phoenix now have a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mott Haven for a non-league test on Monday, April 15. South Bronx will confront a Mavericks team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Iona Prep (New Rochelle, NY). The Mavericks record now stands at 5-2.
The (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Taft (Bronx, NY). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Taft gained a win over Hamer (Bronx, NY), 2-1, in a non-league test.
