The Marcos de Niza Padres topped the host Metro Tech Knights volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.

The Padres now have a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leading Edge Academy - GEC for a non-league test on Friday, April 12. Marcos de Niza will confront a Spartans team coming off a 3-0 league loss to American Leadership Academy - Ironwood (Ironwood, AZ). The Spartans record now stands at 0-10.

The Knights (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ). The Coyotes enter the non-league test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, Combs was knocked off by American Leadership Academy (Queen Creek, AZ), 3-1, in a non-league test.
