Coastal Christian Centurions (Wilmington, NC) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting GRACE Christian Eagles (Raleigh, NC), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Centurions confront the John Paul II Catholic Saints (Greenville, NC) in a NCISAA Coastal Plain challenge, on Tuesday, April 16. Coastal Christian will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Saints enter the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 2-0 league win over Epiphany (New Bern, NC).

The Eagles now have a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trinity Academy for a NCISAA Captal City challenge on Tuesday, April 16. GRACE Christian will confront a Tigers team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Burlington Christian Academy (Burlington, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 4-1.
