St. Pauls Bulldogs (St. Pauls, NC) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Pender Patriots (Burgaw, NC), 5-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs confront the West Bladen Knights (Bladenboro, NC) in a Southeastern Athletic 2A challenge, on Tuesday, April 16. St. Pauls will attempt to better on its 3-9 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 0-0 league Midway (Dunn, NC).
The Patriots now have a 0-12 record. They take the field next when they host Whiteville for a Waccamaw 1A/2A challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Pender will confront a Wolfpack team coming off a 2-1 league loss to East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC). The Wolfpack record now stands at 1-10.
