The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Central Catholic Vikings (Pittsburgh, PA) and the visiting Norwin Knights (North Huntingdon, PA), saw Central Catholic's lacrosse team gain a win over Norwin by a margin of 15-12.

The Vikings (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Upper St. Clair (Upper St. Clair, PA). The Panthers enter the WPIAL 3A 1 challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Upper St. Clair edged Fox Chapel (Pittsburgh, PA), 10-9, in a non-league challenge.

The Knights (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA). The Blue Devils enter the WPIAL 3A 1 challenge with a 6-2 record.
