Wantagh Warriors (Wantagh, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Lynbrook Owls (Lynbrook, NY), 17-3 in a non-league battle.

The Warriors now have a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Massapequa for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 17. Wantagh will clash with a Chiefs squad coming off a 15-10 non-league win over Mount Sinai (Mount Sinai, NY). The Chiefs record now stands at 5-4.

In their next game, the Owls clash with the Poly Prep Country Day Blue Devils (Brooklyn, NY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 13. Lynbrook will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Blue Devils come into the battle with a 4-2 record after their 9-3 league win over Hackley (Tarrytown, NY).
