St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers (St. Johnsbury, VT) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the visiting Milton Yellowjackets (Milton, VT), 12-11 in a league battle.

The Hilltoppers now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harwood for a Division II battle on Tuesday, April 16.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets clash with the Stowe Raiders (Stowe, VT) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 15. Milton will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Raiders come into the battle with a 2-0 record after their 13-12 non-league win over Mt. Abraham (Bristol, VT).
