The Rancho Cotate Cougars lacrosse team scored 11 points and held the visiting Sonoma Academy Coyotes to 3 in the Cougars non-league win on Friday.
The Cougars (7-7) will now prepare for their match against Cardinal Newman (Santa Rosa, CA). The Cardinals go into the Vine Valley match with a 13-2 record. In their last match, Cardinal Newman prevailed over Napa (Napa, CA), 17-0, in a league match.
The Coyotes (7-4) will now prepare for their match against Stuart Hall (San Francisco, CA). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 5-6 record. In their last match, Stuart Hall was overwhelmed by University (San Francisco, CA), 13-3, in a league match.
