The Airport Eagles softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Ridge View Blazers to 2 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Airport moves its record to 11-6 on the year. The Eagles travel to Wagener-Salley (Wagener, SC) to clash with the War Eagles in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 16. The War Eagles come into the game with a record of 7-6.

In their next game, the Blazers clash with the Westwood Redhawks (Blythewood, SC) in a AAAA Region 5 game, on Monday, April 15. Ridge View will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record. The Redhawks come into the game with a 7-8 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Mid-Carolina (Prosperity, SC).
