California High School Softball - Bishop Montgomery can't get by Mary Star of the Sea

In Friday's league contest, the Mary Star of the Sea Stars (San Pedro, CA) softball team held off the visiting Bishop Montgomery Knights (Torrance, CA), by a margin of 7-6.

With the triumph, Mary Star of the Sea moves its record to 6-11 on the year. The Stars travel to St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA) to play the Swordsmen in a Del Rey contest on Monday, April 15. The Swordsmen come into the contest with a record of 12-9. St. Paul won 8-7 in their recent non-league contest against Chino (Chino, CA)

In their next game, the Knights play the Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves (El Segundo, CA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, April 15. Bishop Montgomery will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record. The Wolves come into the contest with a 10-11 record after their 9-0 league loss to North (Torrance, CA).
