The Cedar Grove Panthers softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Bloomfield Bengals to 0 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Cedar Grove improves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Panthers host Middletown North (Middletown, NJ) to clash with the Lions in a non-league game on Saturday, April 13. The Lions come into the game with a record of 3-1.

In their next game, the Bengals clash with the Glen Ridge Ridgers (Glen Ridge, NJ) in a SEC - Liberty game, on Monday, April 15. Bloomfield will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Ridgers come into the game with a 4-2 record after their 4-2 league win over Millburn (Millburn, NJ).
