The Logan County Cougars routed the visiting Butler County Bears softball squad by a final score of 10-1 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Cougars (12-3) will now prepare for their battle against Russellville (Russellville, KY). The Panthers go into the District 13 battle with a 13-6 record.

The Bears now possess a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Warren East for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 13. Butler County will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 12-6.
