The Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) softball routed the visiting North Point Eagles (Waldorf, MD), 13-0 in Friday's league bout.
The Braves (11-0) will now prepare for their bout against La Plata (La Plata, MD). The Warriors go into the Southern Maryland bout with a 5-2 record. In their last bout, La Plata toppled Westlake (Waldorf, MD), 13-0, in a league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they host McDonough for a Southern Maryland bout on Monday, April 15. North Point will confront a Rams squad coming off a 15-5 league win over Patuxent (Lusby, MD). The Rams record now stands at 3-4.
