The Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers routed the visiting Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman Jaguars softball squad by a final score of 20-5 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Chargers (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Sleepy Eye (Sleepy Eye, MN). The Indians go into the Tomahawk battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Sleepy Eye topped Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN), 9-4, in a league battle.
The Jaguars now possess a 0-3 record. They play next when they host New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva for a non-league battle on Monday, April 15. Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 5-2 league loss to Blooming Prairie (Blooming Prairie, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 1-4.
