In Friday's non-league contest, the Harrison Central Red Rebels (Gulfport, MS) softball team held off the host Pass Christian Pirates (Pass Christian, MS), by a margin of 4-3.

With the triumph, Harrison Central moves its record to 13-7 on the year. The Red Rebels travel to Pearl River Central (Carriere, MS) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 13. The Blue Devils come into the contest with a record of 17-7. Pearl River Central lost 9-6 in their recent league contest against West Jones (Laurel, MS)

In their next game, the Pirates play the Greene County Wildcats (Leakesville, MS) in a 4A Region 8 contest, on Monday, April 15. Pass Christian will attempt to move on its 10-11 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 8-11 record after their 12-1 league win over Moss Point (Moss Point, MS).
