The Hibbing Bluejackets softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Moose Lake/Willow River Rebels to 1 in the Bluejackets non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Hibbing moves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Bluejackets host Cloquet (Cloquet, MN) to clash with the Lumberjacks in a non-league game on Monday, April 15. The Lumberjacks come into the game with a record of 1-0. Cloquet won 12-2 in their recent non-league game against Duluth East (Duluth, MN)

In their next game, the Rebels clash with the Kelley Mariners (Silver Bay, MN) in a Polar game, on Tuesday, April 16. Moose Lake/Willow River will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Mariners come into the game with a 3-1 record after their 8-1 league win over Two Harbors (Two Harbors, MN).
