The Hoquiam Grizzlies softball team (Hoquiam, WA), was routed 13-10 in Friday's non-league test with the host Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA)

Coming up next, the Pioneers clash with the Ferndale Golden Eagles (Ferndale, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test, on Tuesday, April 16. Nooksack Valley will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the test with a 4-5 record after their 21-1 league loss to Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA).

The Grizzlies (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Eatonville (Eatonville, WA). The Cruisers come into the 1A Evergreen test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Eatonville was routed by Montesano (Montesano, WA), 12-0, in a league test.
