The Cubs now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Royalton for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 15. Kimball will face a Royals squad coming off a 13-1 non-league loss to Pequot Lakes (Pequot Lakes, MN). The Royals record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Lakers host Glencoe-Silver Lake (Glencoe, MN) to face the Panthers in a Wright County challenge on Monday, April 15.
