The Whitney Young Dolphins softball team scored 4 runs and limited the host Loyola Academy Ramblers to 3 in the Dolphins non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Whitney Young moves its record to 10-5 on the year. The Dolphins host Taft (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Eagles in a Chicago Public Red game on Monday, April 15. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 10-2. Taft won 8-4 in their recent non-league game against Station Camp (Gallatin, TN)

In their next game, the Ramblers clash with the St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL) in a GCAC- Red game, on Monday, April 15. Loyola Academy will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Vikings come into the game with a 7-4 record after their 21-4 non-league loss to Andrew (Tinley Park, IL).
