The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the South Kitsap Wolves (Port Orchard, WA) and the host North Kitsap Vikings (Poulsbo, WA), saw South Kitsap's softball squad nip North Kitsap by a count of 9-3.

The Wolves now sport a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Bellarmine Prep for a 4A South Puget Sound match on Tuesday, April 16. South Kitsap will clash with a Lions team coming off a 19-4 non-league loss to Silas (Tacoma, WA). The Lions record now stands at 0-5.

The Vikings (3-2) will now prepare for their test against North Mason (Belfair, WA). The Bulldogs come into the 2A Olympic test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, North Mason edged Bainbridge (Bainbridge Island, WA), 13-7, in a league test.
