The Tom Bean Tomcats nipped the host Chisum Mustangs baseball squad by a score of 10-9 in Saturday's non-league outing.
Next up, the Tomcats battle the Ector Eagles (Ector, TX) in a 2A Region II District 11 outing, on Monday, April 14. Tom Bean will attempt to advance on its 13-7 season record. The Eagles come into the outing with a 5-8 record after their 17-7 league loss to Whitewright (Whitewright, TX).
The Mustangs (8-8) will now prepare for their outing against Commerce (Commerce, TX). The Tigers come into the 3A Region II District 12 outing with a 2-22 record. In their last outing, Commerce was nudged by Rains (Emory, TX), 15-1, in a league outing.
