In Saturday's non-league bout, the Dundee-Crown Chargers (Carpentersville, IL) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Elgin Maroons (Elgin, IL), by a tally of 14-2.
Next up, the Chargers encounter the Central Rockets (Burlington, IL) in a Fox Valley - Valley bout, on Monday, April 14. Dundee-Crown will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Rockets enter the bout with a 6-4 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Andrew (Tinley Park, IL).
The Maroons (3-6) will now prepare for their bout against South Elgin (South Elgin, IL). The Storm enter the Upstate Eight bout with a 3-9 record. In their last bout, South Elgin overcame Lake Park (Roselle, IL), 8-0, in a non-league bout.
