The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Dunlap Eagles (Dunlap, IL) and the host Normal West Wildcats (Normal, IL), saw Dunlap's baseball team gain a win over Normal West by a tally of 8-1.

The Eagles (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Limestone (Bartonville, IL). The Rockets enter the Mid-Illini battle with a 9-6 record. In their last battle, Limestone held off Lincoln (Lincoln, IL), 6-4, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Wildcats face the Champaign Central Maroons (Champaign, IL) in a Big Twelve battle, on Monday, April 14. Normal West will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Maroons enter the battle with a 8-6 record after their 6-2 league loss to Normal Community (Normal, IL).
