North Carolina High School Baseball - First Flight nips Nash Central

The First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) baseball got by the visiting Nash Central Bulldogs (Rocky Mount, NC), 10-9 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Nighthawks now own a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they host Pasquotank County for a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A challenge on Tuesday, April 15. First Flight will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 15-1 league loss to Currituck County (Barco, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 2-9.

With the defeat, Nash Central drops to 12-5 on the year. The Bulldogs host Roanoke Rapids (Roanoke Rapids, NC) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a The Big East 2A/3A challenge on Tuesday, April 15. The Yellowjackets go into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Roanoke Rapids lost 25-3 in their recent league challenge against Northern Nash (Rocky Mount, NC)
