In Saturday's non-league bout, the Wakeland Wolverines (Frisco, TX) baseball squad the visiting Hebron Hawks (Carrollton, TX), by a tally of 3-1.
Next up, the Wolverines encounter the Reedy Lions (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region II District 12 bout, on Tuesday, April 15. Wakeland will attempt to upgrade on its 18-5 season record. The Lions enter the bout with a 16-6 record after their 4-0 league win over Highland Park (Dallas, TX).
The Hawks (12-10) will now prepare for their bout against Braswell (Little Elm, TX). The Bengals enter the 6A Region I District 5 bout with a 7-17 record. In their last bout, Braswell edged Ryan (Denton, TX), 5-0, in a non-league bout.
