The South Mecklenburg Sabres baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Hopewell Titans to 0 in the Sabres non-league win on Saturday.
The Sabres now hold a 14-7 record. They take the field next when they host Charlotte Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 15. South Mecklenburg will play a Knights team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Knights record now stands at 19-4.
With the defeat, Hopewell drops to 14-4 on the year. The Titans travel to Myers Park (Charlotte, NC) to play the Mustangs in a non-league test on Monday, April 14. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 13-5. Myers Park won 8-3 in their recent non-league test against Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC)
