The Science Hill Hilltoppers baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting John Battle Trojans to 0 in the Hilltoppers non-league win on Saturday.

The Hilltoppers now own a 20-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dobyns-Bennett for a 4A District 1 test on Monday, April 14. Science Hill will clash with a Indians team coming off a 7-5 non-league win over Unicoi County (Erwin, TN). The Indians record now stands at 14-3.

With the defeat, John Battle drops to 3-3 on the year. The Trojans host Patrick Henry (Glade Spring, VA) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league test on Saturday, April 19. The Rebels go into the test with a record of 4-6. Patrick Henry won 9-1 in their recent league test against Holston (Damascus, VA)
