Illinois High School Baseball - Lake Zurich nips Marist

In Saturday's non-league game, the host Lake Zurich Bears baseball team scored a close 5-4 win over the Marist RedHawks.
The Bears (6-4) will now prepare for their game against Libertyville (Libertyville, IL). The Wildcats go into the North Suburban game with a 13-0 record. In their last game, Libertyville nudged Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL), 4-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the RedHawks play the Nazareth Academy Roadrunners (LaGrange Park, IL) in a East Suburban Catholic game, on Monday, April 14. Marist will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Roadrunners go into the game with a 14-0 record after their 13-7 non-league win over Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL).
